A bus ride to the Old Town

Updated: Aug 1

One sunny morning in a coastal town in Montenegro, Marko decided to take a bus ride to the Old Town. He always loved these rides because he could enjoy the beautiful view of the coast and the sea.

Marko got on the bus, greeted the driver, and found a free seat by the window. The bus was full of locals and tourists, all talking and laughing. In front of Marko sat an older man wearing a large hat. The hat was so big that Marko could barely see the road ahead.

After a few minutes of driving, the older man turned to Marko and said, "Young man, do you know if this bus goes to the beach or the Old Town?" Marko, confused, replied, "Well, I think it goes to the Old Town, but I'm not sure about the beach." The man laughed and said, "Great, I'm going where you’re going!"

As the ride went on, the bus encountered a group of goats crossing the road. The driver stopped the bus, and all the passengers started laughing and taking pictures of the goats. Marko commented, "Looks like we have special company today!" To this, the older man with the hat replied, "Only in Montenegro can you come across such situations!"

When they finally arrived at the Old Town, Marko and the older man got off together. Marko thanked the driver and turned to his new friend: "I hope you enjoyed the ride as much as I did." The man laughed and replied, "Of course! And thank you for reminding me why I love this town."

And so, Marko and his new friend continued their walk through the Old Town, sightseeing and laughing about the unusual situations they experienced on the bus.

  1. "Hello! Do you know if this bus goes to the Old Town?"

  2. "How long does it take to get there from here?"

  3. "Is it usually crowded at this time of day?"

  4. "Can you recommend any good places to visit in the Old Town?"

  5. "Do you know if there's a nice spot to have lunch around there?"

  6. "Have you been living in this city for a long time?"

  7. "Thank you for the information! I appreciate your help."
