Part 1: Introduction and personal questions

Examiner: Good morning! Would you say you're an emotional person?

Candidate: Good morning! Yes, I’m quite sensitive. I can understand how people around me are feeling.

Examiner: Is it easy for you to express your emotions?

Candidate: Not always. Sometimes it’s hard to say exactly what I feel, especially when I’m sad or angry. But I try to communicate calmly and honestly.

Examiner: Do you think it’s important to talk about your emotions?

Candidate: Yes, I think it’s very important. When we talk about our emotions, we understand ourselves and others better. It helps avoid misunderstandings.

Part 2: Monologue (1–2 minutes)

Task: Talk about the importance of emotions in communication between people.

Answer:"Emotions are a fundamental part of communication. Even though we use words to speak, the tone of voice, facial expressions, and body language often say much more.

When we communicate sincerely, people understand us better. For example, if a friend is sad and I just say “Everything’s fine,” that might not be enough. But if I speak to her with kindness, listen to how she feels, and give her a hug, she feels truly understood.

I think that in life, and even at work, it’s important to express emotions clearly and respectfully. That way we can build stronger relationships, both with friends and colleagues.

Emotions are not a weakness — they are a strength. They help us stay human and connected to others."

Part 3: Deeper discussion

Examiner: In your opinion, is it harder to express emotions with words or with gestures?

Candidate: It depends on the person. For me, it’s easier to express emotions with small gestures: a look, a smile, a message. Sometimes words are not enough, or they feel too difficult.

Examiner: What happens if people don’t express their emotions?

Candidate: If we don’t talk about emotions, misunderstandings and problems can happen. People may start to feel lonely, even when they are together. Communication helps to build trust and solve conflicts.

Examiner: Do emotions play a role in the workplace too?

Candidate: Yes, definitely. There are emotions at work too — stress, excitement, fear, motivation. A good professional needs to recognize and manage them. For example, in the beauty field, if a client feels insecure, we have to listen and help her feel beautiful and accepted.
