Apollinarija je napustila svoju kuću u jutro, u blago, tiho septembarsko sunce.
Apollinarija left her house in the morning, into the soft, quiet September sunlight.
She truly loved these morning hours, when the sun slowly rose above the sea, a light mist lingered in the air, and the flowers turned their heads upward, cheerful after the chilly night.
A warm feeling rose from Apollinarija’s heart, warming her from within; she walked and admired every tree and bush.
"Svako živo biće voli sunce. Sunce daje energiju za život", mislila je Apolinarija, "to je svjetlost, toplina i još nešto što izaziva radost."
"Every living being loves the sun. The sun gives energy for life," thought Apollinarija, "it is light, warmth, and something else that brings joy."
„Danas ćemo pričati o transformaciji energije u materiju i obrnuto“, rekao je učitelj na času."
Today we will talk about the transformation of energy into matter and vice versa," said the teacher during the lesson.
"Odakle dolazi energija je misterija, niko još nije uspeo da objasni.
"Where energy comes from is a mystery; no one has managed to explain it yet.
But it is known that energy organizes matter or substance in a specific order, so that bodies appear.
Na primer, energija sunca daje ishranu lišću drveća i cveća,
For example, the energy of the sun nourishes the leaves of trees and flowers,
the leaves have a specific shape to receive the maximum amount of energy from the sun.
Sami listovi se sastoje od sitnih zelenih ćelija, sličnih mjehurićima, čvrsto stisnutih jedna uz drugu.
The leaves themselves are made up of tiny green cells, like little bubbles, tightly pressed together.
Zelena supstanca u listovima se zove hlorofil - ljubitelj sunca,
The green substance in the leaves is called chlorophyll – a sun lover,
a sam list drveta ima tijelo ograničeno veličinom, dužinom, širinom, debljinom, oblikom.
and the leaf of a tree has a body limited by size, length, width, thickness, and shape.
All objects in nature are made of matter organized into a body under the influence of energy.
Sada razmislite šta će se dogoditi ako zgužvamo list drveta i ono izgubi svoj oblik.
Now think about what will happen if we crumple a tree leaf and it loses its shape.
Hoće li se njegovo tijelo promijeniti?
Will its body change?
Hoće li supstanca ostati ista?
Will the substance remain the same?
Ako supstanca ostane ista, ali list drveta izgubi svoj oblik - svoju organizaciju, šta će se onda promijeniti?
If the substance stays the same but the leaf loses its shape – its organization – what then changes?
The leaf will release its energy that kept it in its natural state.
Na primjer, možemo osušiti list drveta, samljeti ga i skuhati čaj.
For example, we can dry a tree leaf, grind it, and make tea.
U tom slučaju ćemo popiti čaj i zagrijati se, dobiti blagodati lista drveta, možda čak i ljekoviti učinak.
In that case, we will drink the tea and warm up, receive the benefits of the tree leaf, maybe even a healing effect.
Šta to znači?
What does that mean?
It means that the tree’s energy will be given to the human, at least a part of it, when the person needs that energy for a healthy life.
To također znači da moramo imati na umu energiju koju uzimamo iz lista biljke kada ga beremo, sušimo i pijemo čaj.
It also means we must be mindful of the energy we take from a plant leaf when we pick it, dry it, and drink tea.
Energija sunca i biljaka nas čini sretnijima i zdravijima.
The energy of the sun and plants makes us happier and healthier.
We must be more careful with nature, which provides us with energy for life.
"Interesantno", mislila je Apolinarija,
"Interesting," thought Apollinarija,
"Znaju li pčele šta rade sa energijom kada skupljaju nektar i prave med?
"Do bees know what they’re doing with energy when they collect nectar and make honey?
Čaj sa medom je definitivno ukusniji i zdraviji.
Tea with honey is definitely tastier and healthier.
Honey has no shape — does that mean honey is pure energy poured into a substance meant only for nourishment?
Is honey just a substance without a body?
Da li će ostati korisna ako mu date formu?
Will it remain beneficial if you give it form?
Stari med postaje tvrd kao bombon...
Old honey becomes hard like candy...
It’s very tasty in solid form, but maybe it no longer has as much energy as in fresh honey?
Kako saznati?..."
How can one find out?..."
